Due to the firm pile, the rug is insensitive to the stresses of everyday life. The desgin of Ziegler rugs was once designed by a Swiss entrepreneur and has survived to this day. Originally, these rugs were knotted in Persia.

Indian Tepper: The knotting of rugs in India dates back to the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. At that time, knotting factories were built according to the Persian model.
