Kazak Tepper: Kazak-tepper kommer opprinnelig fra Kaukasus-regionen. Karakteristisk for en Kazak er geometriske mønstre og figurer, samt en flat veving. Indian Tepper: The knotting of rugs in India dates back to the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. At that time, knotting factories were built according to the Persian model.
