Sarouk Tepper: From the small Persian town of Sarough comes the world famous Sarough rug. Old and antique Sarough unique pieces are particularly rare and valuable. They were exported to America at the beginning of the 20th century. The high quality knotting, the extraordinary style and the dyeing with real plant dye make them the most exclusive rugs in the world.
Persian Tepper: Persian rugs are world famous for their quality and beauty. Genuine Persian rugs are hand knotted and the wool is dyed with natural vegetable dye. Characteristic for Persian rugs are also the elaborate patterns in floral and geometric shapes. The most famous provenances in which rugs are knotted are Nain, Sarough, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan, Bidjar and Ghom.
Virgin wool pile: A rug made of real virgin wool makes any interior style more cozy. The virgin wool itself has a very pleasant soft feel and also helps to dampen the sound and regulate the humidity in the room. Due to these properties, the well being with a rug made of genuine new wool increases directly noticeable.
Cotton chain: Cotton is an excellent warp (base fabric) for a genuine hand-knotted rug, as it is hard-wearing and at the same time can be spun fine and close-meshed.
Hand knotted quality: Hand-knotted rugs are true works of art and, depending on the quality, require very good training and a high degree of patience. Knotting by hand makes the rugs much finer, smoother and higher quality than with other methods.
