Kashan

Kashan Tepper: Kashan-tepper kommer fra den berømte persiske byen Keshan i hjertet av Iran. Kashan-teppene med samme navn har vært veldig populære siden 1950-tallet. Kashan-teppet er et ideelt stueteppe, da det er spesielt slitesterkt og vil beholde sin skjønnhet i minst flere tiår. Et Kashan-teppe kombinerer de eksotiske persiske mønstrene med elastisitet og hverdagsbruk som ingen andre persiske tepper.

Persian Tepper: Persian rugs are world famous for their quality and beauty. Genuine Persian rugs are hand knotted and the wool is dyed with natural vegetable dye. Characteristic for Persian rugs are also the elaborate patterns in floral and geometric shapes. The most famous provenances in which rugs are knotted are Nain, Sarough, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan, Bidjar and Ghom.

Chain from virgin wool: Hand-spun virgin wool is used by nomads not only in the pile, but also for the warp (the base fabric).

Hand knotted quality: Hand-knotted rugs are true works of art and, depending on the quality, require very good training and a high degree of patience. Knotting by hand makes the rugs much finer, smoother and higher quality than with other methods.
