Ghom Tepper: Ghom-tepper kommer fra den hellige byen Ghom nær Teheran. Ghom-tepper laget av silke er spesielt berømte. Persian Tepper: Persian rugs are world famous for their quality and beauty. Genuine Persian rugs are hand knotted and the wool is dyed with natural vegetable dye. Characteristic for Persian rugs are also the elaborate patterns in floral and geometric shapes. The most famous provenances in which rugs are knotted are Nain, Sarough, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan, Bidjar and Ghom.

Hand knotted quality: Hand-knotted rugs are true works of art and, depending on the quality, require very good training and a high degree of patience. Knotting by hand makes the rugs much finer, smoother and higher quality than with other methods.
