Vi utvikler designen av disse teppene her i Hamburg i samarbeid med indiske designere, hvor de deretter knyttes. Vi bruker bare den beste jomfruullen i produksjonsprosessen, som forvandles til en unik haug med tilsetning av fin silke.

Indian Tepper: The knotting of rugs in India dates back to the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. At that time, knotting factories were built according to the Persian model. The influence of the patterns can still be seen today even though Indian rugs are very good quality, especially in new creations.

Chain from virgin wool: Hand-spun virgin wool is used by nomads not only in the pile, but also for the warp (the base fabric).

Hand knotted quality: Hand-knotted rugs are true works of art and, depending on the quality, require very good training and a high degree of patience. Knotting by hand makes the rugs much finer, smoother and higher quality than with other methods.
